William J. Chase, Jr

serves as Chairman of the Board of Banc3 Holdings, Inc., and CEO of Bank3. He began his career in 1978 at Memphis Bank and Trust and over the next 35 years added to his experience. He most recently was President and CEO of Triumph Bank from 2005-2021, leading the bank to a successful sale to Simmons First National Corp. He is a graduate of Memphis University School, Vanderbilt University, as well as the ABA’s National Commercial Lending School. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Concord Academy, a School for Special Needs Students, a former Governing Board Member of St. Francis Hospital, and a current Board Member of Convergence Memphis.

Frank J. Cianciola, Founder

retired as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Banc3 Holdings, Inc. and Executive Chairman of the Board of Bank3 as of August 1, 2024. Current Advisory Officer/Director, Banc3 Holdings, Inc./Bank3. Mr. Cianciola has an undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and a Masters of Science degree in Finance from the Fogelman School of Business at the University of Memphis. He is a graduate and certificate holder of the Graduate School of International Banking at the University of Virginia, the Graduate School of Commercial Lending at the University of Oklahoma, and Effective Executive Education Program at the Wharton School.

He began his financial services career at Union Planters in 1973 and from 1984-1992 he held a variety of executive positions with Commerce Union Bank (C&S Sovran). From 1992-1995, Cianciola served as CFO of The Memphis Group, Inc., a $60 million aerospace company. In 1995, he became CEO of Victory Bank and Trust, followed by his role as Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the 1999 TN based Renasant Bank. Most recently, he served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Metropolitan Bank. He is a past president of the Economic Club of Memphis and a Member of the Society of Entrepreneurs of Memphis.

Matt Shirley

serves as President of Bank3 and Senior Lending Officer. Mr. Shirley has been in the banking/finance industry for over 14 years. He began his financial services career at Union Planters Bank in 2002. For the next eight years he held various positions in the bank’s retail branches, credit underwriting & support, and commercial banking production roles. In 2010 he joined Metropolitan Bank as a Managing Director in their Commercial Lending group.

Edward J. “Ed” Gentry

serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer.  Mr. Gentry has 29 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Gentry most recently served as the Chairman, President & CEO of CRA Partners in Memphis, TN.  CRA Partners provides a nationwide crime prevention program for low to moderate income seniors & veterans.  The program provides Community Reinvestment Act credit for sponsoring banks.  Mr. Gentry is professionally credit trained and previously served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer at Triumph Bank.  Gentry has also held executive level positions at National Bank of Commerce, BancorpSouth and The Bank of New York.

Monica Parks

serves as Chief Information Officer. Monica has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily focused in fraud, cybersecurity, digital wallet & platform management, Information Security, as well as business and technical operations. Monica is a former Analog Astronaut, having served on the Selene IV mission with HI-SEAS in collaboration with NASA Goddard.

Andrew Sprecher

serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Sprecher graduated Summa Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy, both from the Adkerson School of Accountancy at Mississippi State University.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Paul W. Barret, Jr. Graduate School of Banking at Christian Brothers University.  Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant and joined Bank3 in 2018.  He also serves as a board member for the Tennessee Bankers Association Young Bankers division.

Karen Stewart

serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for the Company.  Her banking career spans 25 years with organizations including First Tennessee Bank, KPMG, and now Bank3.

Hope Bearden

serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer. Hope brings over 19 years of experience managing operations of a successful local iron manufacturing company.

Tim Clements

serves as Senior Vice President and head of the Treasury Management Division of Bank3. He has been in banking for 47 years covering the southeast United States for various banks headquartered in Memphis. While attending college he began his career in 1976 at National Bank of Commerce (now Truist Bank) where he served for 29 years in the areas of Audit, Operations, and Treasury Management as a First Vice President. In addition to National Bank of Commerce, he worked at Cadence Bank and Triumph Bank as a Senior Vice President and most recently at Simmons Bank as a Vice President. He has an extensive amount of experience in Treasury Management creating those divisions at National Bank of Commerce and Cadence Bank. He is a former Board Member of the Southern Financial Exchange and former Member of the Fiserv Digital Banking Committee.

Holly Paige

serves as Senior Vice President, Loan Operations Manager.  Holly comes to us from Renasant Bank (formerly Metropolitan Bank) where she worked as a client services director for their commercial lending team.  She began her career as a legal assistant for a real estate law firm in Memphis.  In 2004 Holly began working for Commercial Bank and Trust as a loan specialist for commercial and private client lending.  Holly brings more than 15 years of banking experience to Bank3.

Teresa Taylor

She began her career in the audit department for First Tennessee Bank and moved into their Asset Based Lending/Commercial Finance division as a loan officer. She moved to Atlanta and worked for Suntrust Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending/Private Banking and later moved back to Memphis and worked at SouthTrust Bank as Vice President of Private Banking. Most recently she served as Vice President of Commercial Banking at Bank of Bartlett.

He began his banking career at Suntrust Bank as a financial sales representative. Jon brings more than 11 years of banking experience to Bank3.

Maquecia Crumb

serves as Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations Specialist. Maquecia has over 19 years of banking and customer service experience.
She began her career at Union Planters Bank as a Teller and later as Head Teller.  Maquecia comes to us from Renasant Bank, formerly known as Metropolitan Bank, where she has worked varies roles as a Concierge/Teller, Client Service Advisor for private client and Client Service Director for the commercial lending team.

Susan Hooten

serves as Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations Specialist. After working in the Travel industry for 13 years Susan began her banking career with First Tennessee in 2002, where she served as Client Specialist in Private Banking. Most recently Susan served as client service director in consumer lending for Renasant Bank (formerly Metropolitan Bank).

serves as a Senior Loan Assistant. April brings over 26 years of banking experience to Bank3 having served in various roles in loan operations and commercial lending.

Carol McConkey

serves as  Executive Vice President, Mortgage Lending.  She has over 36 years experience in residential mortgage lending where she developed an extensive knowledge of the business.  Most recently she spent 15 years with a local community bank as Senior Vice-President over Mortgage and Consumer Banking.  During this time, she increased her knowledge of residential compliance regulations while managing the retail bank, mortgage department and producing significant non-interest income for the bank.  She has served on the Board of United Housing, Inc. and currently serves on their Lending and Finance committees.
