Frank J. Cianciola, Founder

serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Banc3 Holdings, Inc. and Executive Chairman of the Board of Bank3.  Mr. Cianciola has an undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and a Masters of Science degree in Finance from the Fogelman School of Business at the University of Memphis.  He is a graduate and certificate holder of the Graduate School of International Banking at the University of Virginia, the Graduate School of Commercial Lending at the University of Oklahoma, and Executive Program at the Wharton School.

He began his financial services career at Union Planters in 1973 and from 1984-1992 he held a variety of executive positions with Commerce Union Bank (C&S Sovran). From 1992-1995, Cianciola served as CFO of The Memphis Group, Inc., a $60 million aerospace company. In 1995, he became CEO of Victory Bank and Trust, followed by his role as Founder, CEO and Chairman of Renasant Bank. Frank served on the publicly held Renasant (RNST) Bank’s Board from 2004 – 2009. Most recently, he served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Metropolitan Bank.  He is a past president of the Economic Club of Memphis and a Member of the Society of Entrepreneurs of Memphis.

William J. Chase, Jr

serves as Vice-Chairman of Banc3 Holdings, Inc., and CEO of Bank3, as appointed by the Board of Directors, June 2, 2023. He began his career in 1978 at Memphis Bank and Trust and over the next 35 years added to his experience.  He most recently was President and CEO of Triumph Bank from 2005-2021, leading the bank to a successful sale to Simmons First National Corp. He is a graduate of Memphis University School, Vanderbilt University, as well as the ABA’s National Commercial Lending School. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Concord Academy, a School for Special Needs Students, a former Governing Board Member of St. Francis Hospital, and a current Board Member of Convergence Memphis.

Derek Douglas

serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Douglas has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily focused on banking, marketing and customer experience technologies. He began his career at National Bank of Commerce, later SunTrust, leading a team responsible for launching one of the first internet banking and bill payment programs in the country, and served as Vice President managing the bank’s virtual banking and online marketing initiatives. Derek later joined First Mercantile, a retirement services provider, where he was responsible for developing the company’s first CRM program to enhance national marketing and sales initiatives. Most recently, Derek managed the Donor Experience Quality program at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for the Company.  Her banking career spans 25 years with organizations including First Tennessee Bank, KPMG, and now Bank3.

Hope Bearden

serves as Senior Vice President, Executive Administrative Assistant. Hope brings over 19 years of experience managing operations of a successful local iron manufacturing company.

Tim Clements

serves as Senior Vice President and head of the Treasury Management Division of Bank3. He has been in banking for 47 years covering the southeast United States for various banks headquartered in Memphis. While attending college he began his career in 1976 at National Bank of Commerce (now Truist Bank) where he served for 29 years in the areas of Audit, Operations, and Treasury Management as a First Vice President. In addition to National Bank of Commerce, he worked at Cadence Bank and Triumph Bank as a Senior Vice President and most recently at Simmons Bank as a Vice President. He has an extensive amount of experience in Treasury Management creating those divisions at National Bank of Commerce and Cadence Bank. He is a former Board Member of the Southern Financial Exchange and former Member of the Fiserv Digital Banking Committee.
